So yeah, it was really hard to gather my thoughts after watching the movie, because it’s all thrown together in two nonsensical hours with ups, downs, lefts, rights and everything in between

I had no idea what I was getting myself into after buying the ticket to see Emilia Perez, I thought it was going to be some kind of action/crime movie because I was too into it, but damn, I was shocked when the first song came on, because I didn’t really know it was going to be a musical, and also the cut to the musical scene was pretty sudden and even shocking. But anyway, the quality of the movie is definitely there, except the plot deviated an unhealthy amount of times and split into subplots that didn’t make much sense for the movie, but there was an idea behind the movie, and it was pretty good (I would call the ending provocative, but maybe that’s just me) but yeah, relaxing into the movie was hard, but while I did, I had a great time and I felt much more in tune with the music than I expected, plus, the acting was superb, literally on another level and I absolutely loved it.

It’s hard to decipher, you should just watch it and figure it out for yourself (I personally recommend it, even with all its flaws it’s totally worth it) so yeah, go watch it :).
